Her Story
Stacey was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, physician, mentor, and fierce advocate for children with disabilities. Born ten weeks early and cared for in the Gerber Neonatal Hospital, she grew up to become the very kind of physician that fragile children and frightened families lean on during their hardest days.
A graduate of the University of Michigan Honors College and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Stacey completed her fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare — placing her among an elite group of fellowship-trained pediatric rehabilitation physicians in the country. She served as Medical Director of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston and as Associate Professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where she was honored many times over as a Top Doctor, an award-winning educator, and — above all — a tireless champion for every child in her care.
To her patients she was a healer; to her students, a mentor; to her colleagues, an inspiration. But to Ryan she was a loving partner, and to Colton she was simply “Mommy” — his biggest cheerleader, his safest place, and his proof that there is no obstacle that cannot be faced with love, grit, and hope.
Stacey is survived by her husband, Ryan; her son, Colton; her parents, Craig and Karen Hall; her brother Erik and sister-in-law Erin; her brother-in-law Rob and sister-in-law Dianna; and a wide circle of family, friends, colleagues, and patient families who now carry her memory forward.

The Celebration
A DAY OF LOVE AND LAUGHTER
On Sunday, July 19, family and friends gathered at The Warehouse at The Baker Lofts in Holland to celebrate Stacey — an afternoon of stories, laughter, tears, and gratitude, exactly as she would have wanted it.
To everyone who came, who traveled, who sent flowers and letters and memories from near and far: thank you. Your love carried us through that day, and it carries us still.
