A Father’s Testamonial

As Stacey’s father, I was blessed to watch a remarkable little girl grow into an extraordinary woman and physician, and my pride in her was never simply about what she accomplished, but about who she became. She was intelligent, determined and accomplished, certainly, but what made me proudest was the compassion she showed others, the way she made people feel valued, and the difference she made in so many lives simply by being Stacey. A father hopes his child will find purpose, live with integrity, love deeply and leave the world a little better than she found it; Stacey did all of that and so much more. I will always miss my daughter beyond words, but I will also carry the enormous privilege and pride of having been her dad—and of knowing that the goodness she put into this world continues to live in the people whose lives she touched.
