Hall Family Testimonial

Our hearts are broken in ways we're still learning to name. Stacey was our daughter, our wife, our mommy, our sister, our brightest light — and no words will ever hold all that we lost on July 3. We grieve the dinners she won't cook; the bedtime stories Colton won't hear in her voice, the holiday’s, birthdays and graduations and quiet ordinary days that were stolen from us in a single moment. She began her life fighting — born ten weeks early, so small and so determined — and she never stopped fighting for the people she loved. We would give anything for one more day.

And yet our grief is not ours alone. Somewhere tonight there is a child waking up in a hospital bed to a life suddenly changed — and Stacey will not be there to sit beside that bed, to look a frightened parent in the eye and say, with the honesty and hope only she could carry at once, we will get through this together. That is the loss the world cannot see: the thousands of children she would have healed, the families she would have steadied, the young doctors she would have taught to care the way she did. We cannot bring her back. But we can promise this — through The Dr. Stacey Hall Fund for Pediatric Rehabilitation and through every life she touched, her fight goes on. It was never just her career. It was her love and her mission, made visible. And love like hers does not end.
